- there must be a member of the group acting in the film.
- pitch presentation could have been more organized
- the shooting schedule was very detailed
- the title sequence idea was good but could be thought more deeply about to be more clear

Type of title sequence by Dannie
What type of title sequence is it ?
Our title sequence is going to be more discrete and stylised, we are not using character narrative as we believe this will create more effect in the title sequence. We are going to use a voice over, we believe this will intrigue the audience and make them want to watch more as out voice over is going to be set in the past. Furthermore the fact that there is only imagery this gives less away to the audience in order for them to want to watch more of the film in order to understand what happens.
A title sequences that have influenced us is Adulthood. This title sequence has influenced us because it is very simple yet very effective they have used a black background and had title credits coming across the screen. Also we see a bit of the back ground and the scene is introduced to the audience as it is a busy city. Also the fact there are TFL buses also indicates to the audience that it will be set in London. I like that fact that it doesn't give too much away to the audience.
Also another title sequence that has influenced us is Kidulthood, the same urban genre as Adulthood. Although the use of editing where each shot only lingers on the screen for a short amount of time before cutting to the next shot, the introduction of characters is still quite effective. There is a clear difference between the major and minor characters presented and therefore draw the audience towards the major characters, therefore further setting the scene as the audience can pick up on the language , accents etc of the major characters.
Our group tends to stick close to conform but add our own original ideas to make it something different that no one has seen before, we believe adding our own sit on things will therefore make the title sequence more interesting and intriguing for our audiences. In addition to this, also sticking close to conform will give us stronger guidelines in order for us to get everything right and have a well finished piece.

Mise-en-scene by Tamira
We are going to shooting in various locations in Tottenham and and Tower bridge. We will be using urban areas as it meets the criteria of our film.
Soundtrack Option 2 by Tyrique
Ive also chosen this song to be featured in my film opening as it also shows themes of the genre of the film and will create a good tone to the opening. Also the words in the track relate to content in the film therefore the visuals and sound will contrast well.
Soundtrack Option 1 by Tyrique
I want this Instrumental in our film as it creates a suspense scene also its one of the modern day rap beat which a lot of the viewers will be able to relate to who are apart of the modern day gang scenes around London city.

Title Sequence Synopsis
Black Boy
Our film is going to be about a young black boy who is living in our modern day society. He is apart of the working class therefore does not have much power or money. His dad walked out on the family so he has been raised by a struggling single mother. The only result to money which could bring power in his social class is crime....
This leads to the plot of our movie, it will be a first person narration of this boys life and his thoughts and feelings to really give the audience an insight of how these young boys are living...
In the film the boy is speaking in the future about his past as they are about to go ahead with a major robbery. Our aim is to have the audience think where he could be in his future as he talks about the past. There could only be two places right?
In the title sequence the black background with white text will really show significance of the plot and also so significance in every word the narrator is saying. It will draw the audience in.

Audience details by dannie
Audience detail
Our core target audience is going to be males aged between 13-22. They will be middle class and have hobbies such as games consoles and going out with there friends have having a good time. Our target audience will like similar films to what genre ours will be, for example attack the block and adulthood. My wider target audience is going to be parents or older generation. Parents may be watching to film with there children, or the people watching the film as they like to go out with there friends they may bring other friends that are slightly older than them meaning another target audience is reached.
The way that we can attract our audience is by advertising our film on posters around the area or give of leaflets to people that may tell other people and even if they drop the leaflet other people may see it on the street and may stick in there head resulting in publicity for out film either way. Also another way we can advertise is focus on our target audience and think where these type of people may be for example in our circumstance 13-22 year olds are normally in education so we could put posters around schools, colleges, universities to further out publicity.
Final ideas by Tamira
Our final ideas:
Group 30 have chosen teen crime drama as our genre as we feel that it relates to us and our generation. Our title sequence type will be titles with moving images which incorporates the credits with moving pictures, we feel that this type of title sequence will be the most effective as it matches our genre.
Numerous films have inspired us but the main one has to be 'My brother the devil' as it features motion images with credits and is well made especially for a self made film.
The main characters are a bunch of youths that are planning a robbery. In the opening of our film it will feature the group of youths gathering themselves together and hopping in a vehicle moving at a fast pace, it will also include a voice over as it would set the tone of our title sequence.

YouGov blog

From these profiles I found that similar films to mine that I am going to make tend to appeal to quite older people rather than infants. Also they appeal to more english citizens rather than globally. I think that these statistics are not as accurate as they could be. Being a young teen that watches films like these I feel like some o these statistics are wrong for example the fact that quite old people watch these films rather than teens. When I make mine I think that I will make it a lot more accurate, but I also think that the different movies have different groups as these two movies are similar but have different target audiences.
Audience Member Profile
Collating the data from my YouGov research , i can gather that films in the teen crime drama genre have a definite target audience living in London, in an entertainment profession, in favour of labour party and of all social grades. Due to the circumstances of the site, data is only collected from audiences above the age of 18. My film will have a target audience of 16 and above. Wednesday, 2 November 2016

24.Individual Ideas
The genre my group has chosen is Crime Drama.
My film will be set in a house where theses young teens are preparing for a robbery, they put on masks and exit the room door. In the rest of the film they would have completed this robbery but later on regret as they face serious consequences.
A flat in a housing estate or some type of room.
There will be weaponry props with drugs, money and masks. Costumes will be all black intimidating clothing.
The characters will be teenagers around 17-18 boys.
The titles would be quiet basic with black and white because it will be effective and also leave the audience with suspicion of what will happen.
The music would be a Drill, rap playlist the encounter the modern 'ghetto' life of young deprived teenagers in London.

Individual ideas.
Group 30 have concluded that teen crime genre will be our genre.
Location- Hackney, Hoxton as it is very urban and would match our genre
Props/costumes:
My film would have a range of props and dull similar costumes as it will be black and white.
Characters:
My title sequence wouldn't be patriarchal but it would mainly feature young boys age 16-19 as boys are usually more involved in gang activity.
Titles:
Titles with moving images would be used where titles are incorporated with moving images
Soundscape:

Head On Activity
Group 30 have decided to make a title sequence in the teen crime drama genre.
In my potential film, a young entrepreneur (male) will meet and get befriended and betrayed by a local gang leader preying on his success. To achieve this, we would need to film in an office like setting (for instance using a classroom or designated office space). As my film begins in media res, only one setting would be used, though if they feel was to be filmed till the end, domestic and cityscape settings might feature. Props might include light weaponry, for instance bats, robbery masks and office equipment like a laptop. Costumes will be casual and dark for those in the gang, whereas the clothing of the young entrepreneur, keeping in mind age expectation, would look smarter. There will be two main characters in the title sequence and maximum of ten in the entire film; The young entrepreneur, the gang leader and other background characters used to set the scene.
My titles will be over moving images. The soundscape will be a compilation of a soundtrack and ambient sound. A possible for soundtrack for use would be Flowers X Patron by A2 and Krept&Konan. I chose this song not only because the artists wold theoretically be familiar to the type characters in the film and the viewers of the title sequence, but also the lyrics link to the themes of money, grind mindset and false friends.
