Analysis Of Two Film Title Sequences

Creed
The first thing the audience see is the indent of the film, including the names of the production companies involved, in front of  a black screen. The font is small, white and in a form of block lettering, centre screen. We are then introduced to a boy , through an extreme close-up. The title creed is then shown in a very large paint-print type lettering , whilst a slow yet triumphant soundtrack begins. The title sequence ends with 'Creed' again. It was designed by Richie Adams. I like it because i usually don't see a lot of films that begin on this tone.

Enemy Of the State
At first you see 'Enemy Of The State' in an Aztec type font appear still in centre screen. Behind it there is an establishing shot of what appears to be the US Government happening. Hard core music  and technology like sound effects (for example a camera rewind) accompany it. Afterwards, the actors names show up in various corners of the screen, behind it cctv footage of a police incident is playing. Towards the end of video, the music slows down and is more emotional but still with slight tension. I picked this title sequence as i am familiar with it and like the genre. The title was designed by Garson Yu, yU+co.This opening sequence is successful in introducing the theme of crime and police to the audience.
